Winston stood at the foot of Mount Eackron and tried to the peak thousands of feet above. He checked his back pack, retied his shoes and started his hike. Fresh air, adventure and trying something new were on the day’s agenda. It was exhilarating to face down a challenge literally as big as a mountain.
He watched fauna run with abandon and then, without warning, the trees stopped.
The peak of the mountain rested under his feet.
“I did it!” He shouted to the valley below.
“This is a ridiculous hobby,” he said, realizing he had to walk back down.
