Robbery

“Oh my goodness!” Melissa said opening the door of the apartment.

“What? What’s happened?” Trent asked from behind a tower of grocery bags.

“We’ve been robbed! The place was ransacked.” Melissa dropped her keys and looked over the damage.  Flowers vases knocked to the ground, gashes in the couch, clothes dragged out of the bedroom; nothing seemed untouched.

When her eyes caught her three year old tabby cat, every thing made sense.

“Can a cat be trained?” Melissa asked.

“Exorcised is more accurate in this case.” Trent said.

The cat licked its paws, paying no attention to the human’s annoyance.
