“Life is a series of highs and lows,” Mother explained to Child, “most of the time you rush through the lows though. The highs take a bit of time to get to, but they are so worthwhile.”
“I get that, mom, but I don’t think that’s exactly relevant now,” Child replied.
“Life takes patience. Waiting in line will always be,” Mother said.
“Ma, I already said I would go on the rickety roller coaster with you. You don’t have to mask it as a life lesson,” Child interrupted.
“Rollllleerrr coooooaaaasssssttteerr!” Mother shouted with glee, pumping her arms in the sky.
