Common Conversations with My Toddler

Snacks:

Snack time, big guy, how about a banana?

Nana!

Good deal, here you go.  Eat up!

Cracker?

You have a banana in your hand right now.  You should eat that.

Cracker.

Start with the banana and we’ll see about a cracker later.

Cracker!

No.

Cracker?

No.

Cracker!

No.  Banana.

Cracker  please?

Fine.  Here’s a cracker.  Please eat it.  I am not happy about this though.  Give me the banana first.  Thank you.

You are just staring at me now.  Eat the cracker.  You need a snack.

Do literally anything other than stare at me.

Please.

Nana?

Go to mom.
