My steampunk adventure book, The Egress and the Jupiter Cult is now available through Smashwords.
The price? Free.
It is set to “You set the price!” but think of it more as “pay if you want.” Most of the folks that would read the book bought it from the original publisher for far too high a dollar to spelling error ratio already. Spelling errors are gone, but as I edited the thing myself there’s no telling how many homonyms were confused or “the wrong word spelled correctly” were missed.
I am really bad at selling this thing.
The book is now set free unto the world! I hope you enjoy it.
Follow the prompts, set the price to zero and read at your leisure. If you don’t want to go that route, send me an email shawnwritesstuff(at)gmail(dot)com and I’ll email you a copy. Though it would be crazy cool of you to download it there for the sole purpose of boosting numbers. Because after all, publishing is all about the quantifiable results of the author’s efforts, not making even just one person smile or grow to care for something fictional. That mushy stuff is for the birds.
Thank you all for reading my blog and hanging out with me. I hope you like the book. If you would, please share the link or this post with everyone you have ever encountered, that would be awesome. There are plenty of share buttons below that require little effort. Impress your Facebook friends by supporting an indie author? That sounds just pretentious enough to be awesome.
Bonus treat. If you follow the link above, you’ll see the customer service book I wrote in 2012 as a resume booster. It….it does not get many job offers these days, but it is dripping with sarcasm and poor formatting. Golly I should really try to take that thing off the internet…
And you better believe the characters in The Egress and the Jupiter Cult say golly far too often.
